She’s the “lori” of Sulori. Meet Ilori, one of the inspirations of Sulori. As you know if you’ve read about Sulori, the skin difficulties that my daughters, Sushaunna and Ilori were experiencing inspired the start of the company.

I would like to introduce you to Sushaunna, half of the inspiration behind Sulori. She is my oldest daughter and recently celebrated her third birthday. She was given a princess dress as a gift which happened to be appropriate being that her name means “princess”. This past weekend, my family returned from a beautiful vacation to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Being that temperatures in Georgia were causing me to have spring fever, I wasn’t quite prepared for the snowy days to come. While snowy and cold, the picturesque scene was definitely worth it.
You wouldn’t believe that I traveled to this cold state without one single coat…just completely forgot to bring one! This wasn’t too much of a problem because anytime that I travel to Pennsylvania, it’s a must to go shopping in Lancaster. Other family attractions include tours of Amish farms and houses being that the Amish culture is rich in this area.
As we were returning from a full day in Lancaster, I could not help but notice nature’s beauty in the sky.
Within what seemed to be a blink of the eye, the sun set…these photos were taken in a 5-10 second time frame. Take a moment to yourself and enjoy nature’s beauty.

It’s easy to become laid back with how our feet look when they’re covered up during the winter and only we can see them. Now, the weather is warm and perfect for letting your feet hang out. Here’s an easy 4-step pedicure to get your feet ready for the beautiful spring season:
1. Soak feet in a basin of warm water sprinkled with a handful of salts to soften the skin. Gently exfoliate the top layers of dead skin.
2. Trim toenails. Cut nails straight across with nail clippers or nail scissors. File any jagged edges smooth.
3. Apply sweet almond oil to each toenail and massage into nail bed. Gently push back cuticles.
4. Massage foot with moisturizing balm to improve suppleness of skin.
