ALKANET ROOT
Alkanet root is used as a natural coloring agent.

SWEET ALMOND OIL
Derived from ripened, pressed kernels of the Almond Tree, composition of this oil is similar to olive oil but without the chlorophyll. This oil penetrates well and helps skin balance loss and absorption of moisture. Loaded with vitamins, minerals, and a high fatty-acid content, sweet almond oil is good for all skin types especially dry, inflamed, or itchy skin.

AVOCADO OIL
Avocado oil is derived from the fatty pulp and seed of the avocado. It is extremely rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids that are especially helpful to dry, dull skin. Avocado oil leaves a protective barrier on the skin helping to prevent moisture loss while softening and conditioning the skin.

BAKING SODA
Baking soda is an alkaline powder that stabilizes pH levels and has skin-soothing properties. By neutralizing acids and breaking down proteins, baking soda also acts as an effective deodorizer.

BEESWAX
Beeswax is a wonderful skin protectant with a succulent and sweet honey smell. The skin is protected by beeswax by trapping water on the surface preventing dry or chapped skin. Sulori ensures that our beeswax has been harvested responsibly with absolutely no harm done to our bee friends.

BLACK WALNUT HULLS
Black walnut hulls are used as a natural coloring agent.

BLADDERWRACK
Carefully harvested from cool oceans around the world, bladderwrack is a brown seaweed that consists of iodine and is believed to heal topical wounds.

CALENDULA FLOWERS
Also known as “marigold”, calendula flowers have been used for centuries for skin-healing properties that result from the highly emollient oil that's reputed to have a soothing effect on the skin. The beautiful yellow and orange colors of the flower result from beta-carotene and other carotenoids present.

CASTOR OIL
Derived from the castor bean, castor oil is a thick oil with emollient properties. When dry, it forms a solid film that can have water-binding properties. When used in soapmaking, castor oil creates a soft and rich foam.

CHAMOMILE FLOWERS
Chamomile flowers are a low growing relative of the sunflower and has been used since ancient times for reputed soothing and revitalizing qualities. It has been said that Egyptians dedicated chamomile to their sun god and valued it over all other herbs for its healing qualities.

COCOA BUTTER (FAIR TRADE CERTIFIED)
This aromatic and extremely rich butter is pressed from the roasted seeds of the Cacao tree.
Also called “theobroma” or the “food of the gods”, cocoa butter is a superb moisturizer that softens and protects chapped skin, relieves irritation, and is believed to diminish the signs of wrinkling and stretch marks.

COCONUT OIL (VIRGIN UNREFINED)
With a sweet and exotic fragrance reminiscent of a tropical paradise, coconut oil is derived from the fruit of the coconut palm. The flesh of the coconut is rich in emollient fat and when pressed yields a superior moisturizing oil which is solid at room temperature but easily melts on the skin. Coconut oil penetrates well and leaves a softening effect.

COMFREY ROOT
Comfrey contains allantoin, a skin ingredient that promotes healing and is known for its regenerating and soothing properties.

CORNSTARCH
Made from the corn plant, cornstarch is a starchy powder that is highly absorbent and provides a dry, fresh feeling.

DEAD SEA MUD
This precious mud comes from the Dead Sea of Israel. The drawing action removes impurities from deep within the pores leaving skin clear, clear, and stimulated. Minerals from the Dead Sea are known for reviving, toning, and purifying qualities.

DEAD SEA SALT
Famous for reputed reviving, toning, and purifying qualities, Dead Sea Salt comes from the Dead Sea in Israel. It is the most saline body of water in the world with far greater concentration of minerals than any ocean. Minerals present include bromides, iodine, magnesium, sodium, calcium and potassium which work together as regulators of cell activity and to relieve muscular pain.

EPSOM SALT
Epsom salts are rich in minerals and known to relieve aches, pains, and lactic acid buildup in sore muscles. Named for the mineral rich waters of Epsom, England, these salts were known at least as far back as Shakespeare's day.

EUCALYPTUS ESSENTIAL OIL
Eucalyptus is cooling to the skin and helps relieve sore muscles and feet.

GERANIUM ESSENTIAL OIL
Geranium can be useful for all types of skin and is believed to balance sebum, the fatty substance that keeps skin supple. It is a good overall skin cleanser and can invigorate skin tone by improving circulation. The beautiful and fragrant geraniums grow to be about 2 feet high and has serrated pointed leaves with pink, red, or white flowers.

GRAPEFRUIT ESSENTIAL OIL
Grapefruits create an herbally-sweet, fresh, and irresistible aroma that is perfect for invigorating and stimulating moods.

IRISH MOSS SEAWEED
Irish moss is a tought, stringy seaweed found on rocks in tidals pools along the northern Atlantic. The mucilage content or irish moss makes it emollient in nature and soothing to skin.

KAOLIN CLAY
Rich in minerals, kaolin clay has excellent absorbent, tightening, and toning properties. The high mineral content rejuvenates the skin while the clay stimulates blood circulation to the skin. Regular use removes debris from pores and bring about a smooth, healthy glow.

KELP
Rich in minerals and vitamins B1, B2, and B12, kelp is thought to nourish the skin and enhance the body's natural detoxification powers.

LAVENDER FLOWERS AND ESSENTIAL OIL
Lavender has long been used for the relaxing and calming effects that it is believed to have on the central nervous system. It is known as one of the most gentle herbs with uses ranging from sunburn relief and blemishes to relief of headaches and muscular aches.

LEMON ESSENTIAL OIL
Extracted from the peel of the lemon, this essential oil is stimulating and refreshing. Lemons also help to brighten dull complexions by aiding in the removal of dead skin cells. Fresh lemons were known to be used by ancestors when sailing the seas to prevent scurvy. Egyptians also used lemon oil as an antidote to fish and meat poisoning.

LIME ESSENTIAL OIL
The scent of fresh limes is refreshing with a special hint of sweetness. One whiff and it's sure to lighten a rough day.

MACADAMIA NUT OIL
This penetrating and soothing oil closely resembles human sebum, the oil naturally produced by skin. Macadamia oil is thought to support elasticity and suppleness which are both important in keeping skin healthy and young. It is also high in palmitoleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid that acts as an antioxidant believed to prevent deterioration of cell membranes.

MARSHMALLOW ROOT
Due to its content of mucilage, marshmallow is emollient in nature working to soften and soothe skin.

OATS
Soothing to many types of skin irritations and sensitivities, oats help absorb oils leaving a silky, smooth feel to skin.

OLIVE OIL
Derived from the first pressing of ripe olives and high in beneficial vitamins, minerals, and antioxidant, olive oil is known for its moisturizing, softening and regenerating properties. Research has shown that the polyphenols present in olive oil provide protection to the skin against the harmful effects of the sun and is a natural sun filter. Mediterranean people have use olive oil for centuries as a treatment for dry, damaged hair.

ORANGE PEELS
Orange peels are naturally rich in vitamin C and lend a refreshing and uplifiting scent. When grinded finely, orange peels can also be used as a natural exfoliant.

PALM OIL
Palm oil is obtained from the fruit of the palm tree and lends hardness to handmade soaps.

PATCHOULI ESSENTIAL OIL
Native to tropical Asia, patchouli is thought to soothe inflamed conditions such as dry and cracked skin. Patchouli offers a rich and earthy note that lingers and improves with aging of the oil.

PEPPERMINT LEAF AND ESSENTIAL OIL
With menthol being a major constituent, peppermint tends to have a warming effect making it useful for muscle ailments. As a result of the refreshing and stimulating scent, peppermint tends to energize and waken the mind and is believed to relieve headaches. Peppermint has long been used by many cultures including Egyptians and Chinese for the reputed health benefits.

RHASSOUL CLAY
An exquisite and mineral-rich clay from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, rhassoul clay has great absorbent power resulting in smooth, detoxified, and glowing skin.

ROSEMARY LEAF AND ESSENTIAL OIL
The term “rosemary” is derived from rosemarinus which means “dew of the sea”. In the ancient world, rosemary was regarded as a sacred plant that could impart peace. Rosemary has a high level of camphor which can cause a warming effect making it useful for muscle ailments. It is also good for toning oily-to-normal skin as well as combination skin as a result of reputed cell regenerating and antiseptic properties.

SEA CLAY
Extremely rich in minerals with absorbent powers, clays are the result of hundreds of years of decay and compression of composting debris and rainwater. When used in masques, the drawing power leaves skin silky smooth.

SEA SALT
Taken from the Pacific Ocean, sea salt is rich in minerals and has wonderful therapeutic properties.

SESAME OIL
This oil comes from pure pressed Sesame seeds and is rich in vitamins A and E as well as essential proteins.

SHEA BUTTER
This rich butter comes from the vegetable fat of the Karite Tree in Africa. Naturally rich in vitamins A and E, shea butter has long been revered by the villages of Africa as a healing balm and is thought to have antioxidant and regenerative properties.

SPEARMINT ESSENTIAL OIL AND LEAVES
The sweet, fresh scent of spearmint is believed to invigorate, relieve headaches, and reduce mental fatigue.

SPIRULINA SEAWEED
Spirulina can be found in lakes and is extremely rich in amino acids, vitamins, and minerals.

SUNFLOWER OIL
Packed with essential fatty acids, vitamins A, D, and E as well as antioxidants, this oil is deeply nourishing and moisturizing for the skin.

SWEET ORANGE ESSENTIAL OIL
This oil is produced from the outer peels of sweet oranges. A traditional Chinese symbol of prosperity and good luck, Sulori includes this essential oil for the invigorating and uplifiting qualities.

TEA TREE ESSENTIAL OIL
Tea tree provides a warm, fresh, and clean aroma and has long been used as a cleansing agent and antiseptic.

VITAMIN E OIL
Valued for antioxidant properties, vitamin E serves as a natural preservative. This oil is also commonly used for skin rashes, allergies, acne, and dermatitis. Also, vitamin E has been cited for discouraging scarring and encouraging healing of wounds.
